We are so excited that over 450 STEPs participated in our bargaining town hall yesterday, both in the Bldg 50 auditorium and online! This was a massive display of our unity and determination to win a fair contract for all STEPs.
As we enter into negotiations with UC/LBNL over the terms of our accretion into the UC Staff contract, it is crucial that STEPs understand and can fight for our shared priorities.
If you haven’t already, please take a moment to fill out the STEP bargaining survey. The results of the survey will inform our bargaining demands, so it is imperative that a majority of STEPs complete the survey as soon as possible. After completing the survey, you will also have an opportunity to sign up as a dues-paying member of our union. Majority membership is essential to enforcing our rights and improving our workplace!
