Science, Technology, and Engineering Professionals at Berkeley Lab
We are Science, Technology, and Engineering Professionals (STEP) at Berkeley Lab, a diverse group of professionals who design, manage, and maintain critical lab infrastructure, including software and systems development, engineering, IT support, safety and environmental health, and facilities. Our work is a critical part of what keeps Berkeley Lab running and producing ground-breaking science. We have united to improve our compensation and working conditions, and by affiliating with the UAW, we join 40,000 other University of California employees in Local 4811.
