As announced last week, the STEP bargaining team nomination form and bargaining FAQ are launching today!
The bargaining team will be chosen through an online election in which all STEPs are able to participate. A total of up to 7 STEPs will be elected. To be eligible to run for the bargaining team, a STEP must have signed a union authorization card. If 7 or fewer STEPs nominate themselves, they will be elected by acclamation.
The timeline for this election is as follows:

July 27th at 9:00 AM through July 30th at 8:00 PM PT: Nominations are open for the STEP-UAW bargaining team via this form.

August 3rd at 9:00 AM through August 6th at 5:00 PM PT: online election if more than 7 STEPs have accepted nomination.
